IAM THINK TANK & FORUM is an academic section focusing on architectural topics, aiming to build a platform for discussion, exchange, and cooperation based on world construction issues, and to create a professional output station as a vital, infectious, and driving force in the field of world architecture and culture that affects the construction of global ecological environment, making positive contributions to the urbanization process and development and construction in China and other countries today.

IAM EXHIBITION & PUBLISHMENT  is a professional section friendly to enthusiasts at all levels. Through keen industry insight and a professional team of planners, editors, and publishers, we build bridges between professional architecture and the public, tell architectural stories in a more intimate language, and bring architectural culture beyond geography, time, and school of thought to the public, while inspiring greater creativity in the architectural community.

IAM COMPETITION & AWARDS is a section aimed at promoting sustainable development in the industry. We anticipate using diverse ways of information-exchanging, sharing competitions and awards of different scales and themes, which will help uncover more resilient and powerful emerging talents for urban development and industry advancement, thus continuously nourishing the architectural ecosystem.

2020

IAM was founded in Kyoto, Japan in 2020 by the CA-GROUP uniting with the famous media Architectural Practice and other international academic institutions. It aims to become the leader of China's online architectural universe, gathering top resources, and providing a public, equal and ecological destination for solving all problems related to architecture.

2021

In 2021, with the support of the China Architecture Culture Research Association of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of China, International Architects Mission Center was established by IAM in China (registration authority: Ministry of Civil Affairs, unified social credit code: 51100000500020710F), and set up branches in Beijing and Shanghai. It currently organizes two major architectural and cultural events - 'China International Architecture Biennale' and 'Tadao Ando's Global Touring Exhibition (Beijing Station)'.

2022

In 2022, IAM will host the first online million-level lecture for IAM key member Tadao Ando, publish Tadao Ando Complete Works, and the completion of the new project 'Shang Highland ANDO Gallery', which will be the only building in China named after Tadao Ando. In addition, the first scholarship program of IAM TRAINING & AWARS will be launched in conjunction with IAM key member Nishizawa Ryue (TBD).
